Thanks for viewing..100 views agad since I posted in RCtech this morning.. ;D
Fen,
What do you mean when you say duplicate? If you mean exact duplicate of the chassis you mentioned, I could approximate the likeness yes, or even copy it. But it begs the question, why? If its readily available, I can't think of a practical reason why we should do an exact copy. If cost is a factor, then please bear in mind that the guys at axial or rcwd have better machines and do it by the hundreds, hence they can sell it at a low price and make it faster.
What I offer is a truly custom made chassis to meet your requirements or help you put into metal the design you have in mind. You will notice that the crawlers I built over the last two years (not including the time I took a leave) are one-off builds, in a time when axial wasn't even building the ax10s.
We're lucky now that we have lots of vendors to choose from. But there will be someone who will still require a special part, or for special application or simply a very special one a kind rig. I'm here to help.
Oh, by the way, forgive the pics in this site, I wasn't able to update it, I shipped the version with leaf springs way back in 2008 without taking detailed pics na, busy busy..
Thanks

Hi Edward,
That scale chassis really looks good. Could be a good starting point to convert a CR01 to a more scale setup. It might probably also work for an Axial AX10. Any idea how much it costs?
Thanks and congratulations to the new website.

Thanks.. That the beauty of custom works, we can make a chassis to fit any axle combo. You imagine it, we'll do it. This particular chassis was for a customr in singapore way back in 2008. If I remember it correctly the chassis with suspension system alone cost around 10k for the reason that it was made to fit both a coil spring w/ separate shock set up and a leaf sprung suspension. How's that for custom, one chassis, two types of suspension that can be alternatively used. Plus the build required 6mm chassis plates instead of the customary 4mm, much harder to work on. Did you notice the bend on the chassis, look closely, you will find 3mm threaded holes for the shackles.
A 4mm chassis with 4 link suspension configuration would set you back 6k to 8k depending on the extent of work you want to be done.
